the turbos are GT3071... the AFR's were more than safe for the night and will only make more damn power tuned... and SeedyROM the prolonged boost was less than that run at the track... and even though I put the motor together and would rather he had waited a bit longer before mashing on it, IT IS HIS CAR and HIS MONEY (even though the traction issue endangers more than himself), he knew as well as the guy he raced, the safety issues with the tires... Hell, I was using his slicks for my race and I ran over a nail and the damn thing went flat on me right after the second run... so I was being safe and nearly had the worst of a safety malfuction at 140mph. We went out there knowing the risks and took what precautions we could - some may not agree, that's fine, but please don't flaming over things you don't agree with.. it's you're opinion, you're entitled to it and Octavian didn't ask for it.

Best run: 1.60 60', 11.319 @ 120.65 mph - 118 octane fuel (on 100 octane tune), 22 degrees of timing, 21-22 psi boost, 11 psi tire pressure (street slicks). "..know your car better... RACE IT!.. AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE.." "Drag racing is for fast cars... Autocross is for fast drivers... Drifting is for cheap tires..." I made up the last one.. |
